Limburger Girl is a winnner! Bet the folks in Monroe will get a kick out of that one.
Russ the Drunken Barber is, well, a bit disturbing. I Don't really want to know where Paul got the inspiration for that one. :-)
*Bill in Milwaukee
Russ is actually the name of the barber I've been going to for years, although no one can figure out why. Every time I go he takes off way too much. He used to drink Bud tall boys while he worked, but I think he's just on coffee these days. I went there in Dec and got really scalped. That's when I decided to pen this ditty. Lewis also provided me with a few choice lines. I think he may have had a few memorable moments in a barber chair as well.
I pretty much thing all the demos are great. Good Job Paul and friends! ^^
Yeah, "Russ" is a good song, but the lyrics get me too. I pretty much am scared of barbers. (Bad childhood choices parents made for me)
Keep up the good work TDA! ^__^
The "Russ the Drunken Barber" gets our vote. However, "Glass of Beer Polka" is a great tune and could nab that Grammy for you. If it's a question of when the song was released, you could put it on TDAGH (Those Darn Accordions Greatest Hits)along with some randomly selected songs and....there ya go...a Grammy and a new album with very little effort. Good luck!!!
